Metatron is one of only two Archangels who were once human prophets – along with the Pisces Archangel Sandalphon. Archangel Metatron was Enoch, the author of The Book Of Enoch. Archangel Metatron is now known as the ‘Scribe of God’ and is a teacher of esoteric knowledge. He’s the first Archangel on the Tree of Life in the Kabbalah, which means that he helps people who are newly on the spiritual path.
